Mukula Makasa is currently Director General at the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA), an institution under the Ministry of Commerce Trade and Industry with a mandate to promote and facilitate trade, investment and enterprise development in Zambia. Before his appointment, he served as Director Enterprise Development at ZDA. Prior to ZDA, he worked for the International Development Enterprises (IDE) in various senior management portfolios namely: Africa Region Manager in the United Kingdom, Regional Development Officer in Zimbabwe, Country Director for Zimbabwe and Operations Manager in Zambia. Before joining IDE, he served as Farm Manager and Hybrid Poultry Farm Trainee Manager at Honda Farms. He holds a Masters Degree in Agriculture from the Agrarian University, Bulgaria and a Degree in International Development from Andrews University.
