Souleymane Ba

Mr Ba has 16 years of relevant professional experience. Prior to joining Helios in August 2012, Mr Ba worked at Warburg Pincus, a New York based PE firm where he was focused on leveraged buyouts, growth equity and venture investments in the industrial and consumer sectors. Before joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Ba worked in the US buyout fund of the Carlyle Group, a multinational private equity firm with more than $200 billion in assets. Mr Ba started his career with Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Basic Materials Group. He sits on the Boards of Directors of Bayport Management, Helios Towers and Solevo. He also serves as a member of the Wesleyan University board of trustees, and as a member of the board of Macro-Eyes.  He has a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr Ba is a Senegalese and British national and speaks French and Wolof.
