Sarmad Lone is the Regional Head Client Coverage, Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking for Africa & Middle East. Sarmad joined the Bank in 2013 and has been instrumental in driving the performance for Corporate and Institutional Banking for Middle East, Pakistan & Africa. Sarmad also served as the Senior Executive Officer of DIFC for Standard Chartered Bank from March 2015 until April 2018 and a Board of Director for Standard Chartered Capital Saudi Arabia June 2016 to April 2020.

Prior to joining the Bank, Sarmad held a variety of senior positions with Commercial Bank of Qatar, Morgan Stanley and Citibank. Sarmad is a member of Regional Management and Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking Management team and is based in Dubai.
