Despite Africa's enormous potential, its share of global Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) remains disproportionately low. Moreover, Intra-African Direct Investment (ADI) lags behind other regions, with investors often favouring international markets over opportunities within the continent. However, recent years have witnessed a paradigm shift in the landscape of FDI flows to Africa, with the emergence of new investment sources and the expansion of key sectors ripe for investment.
