Joel Kibazo is the founding partner of JK Associates, a London based Africa focused public affairs and communications consultancy.

He has more than 30 years’ experience across journalism, broadcasting, diplomacy and management and finance with some of the leading companies and institutions in the world.

He was Manging Director-Africa at international business consultancy FTI Consulting; Director of External Relations & Communications at the African Development Bank; and Official Spokesperson and Director of Communications & Public Affairs at the Commonwealth Secretariat, the inter-government body serving the 56 nations of the Commonwealth.

He has a BA in Social Sciences, MA in International Economics and Economic Development, and an MBA (International Marketing.)
