Regional Head of Sustainable Finance, Africa & the Middle East | Standard Chartered Bank

Christopher is the Executive Director and Regional Head of Sustainable Finance, Africa. He is responsible for leading the Bank’s Sustainable Finance agenda by leading the origination, advising and structuring funding solutions for our clients, regulators and policy makers. Prior to his current role, Chris was the Regional Head of Public Sector where he has led various product teams, syndicate banks, law firms and external consultants to provide transformational solutions to our clients and grew the business exponentially.

Chris has over 17 years of banking experience, focused on delivering sustainable financing solutions with an aim to fast track the delivery of the Sustainable Development Goals and be a force for good in the communities we operate. He also has addition experience as a Financial Analyst in Chicago where he worked for four years prior to joining SC.
