Abdul AB Hassan is Founder and CEO of Mono, an open banking platform that enables businesses to securely access financial account data, initiate direct bank payments, and verify customer identities through APIs.

With more than a decade of experience in technology and payments, Abdul has worked across product management and entrepreneurship. In 2016 he founded Hyphen.AI, a chatbot platform that was acquired in 2017. He later launched OyaPay, an offline mobile payment collection service using QR codes, before joining Paystack in 2019.

Through Mono, Abdul is helping build the infrastructure powering data connectivity and financial services innovation across Africa’s fintech ecosystem.
