Peter Secker is Chief Executive Officer of Canyon Resources, where he leads in partnership with A2MP the development of the Minim Martap bauxite project in Cameroon, recognised as one of the world’s highest-grade bauxite deposits.

A mining engineer by training, Peter brings over 40 years of global experience in project development across the resources sector. He has served for over two decades as CEO of publicly listed companies with operations spanning Australia, China, Mexico, the UK, and Canada. Over the course of his career, he has successfully raised more than USD 2 billion from debt and equity markets to finance large-scale mining ventures.

His track record covers a wide range of commodities – from titanium, copper, and iron ore to gold and lithium.
