Benoit is an Intellectual Property (IP) specialist with more than 20 years experience advising a wide range of clients globally on IP strategy, IP due diligence (for investment funds, PE firms and an IP-backed lender), IP valuation, IP risk assessment and patent brokerage (sell- and buy-side). Prior to joining AON, Benoit was a Managing Consultant at PA Consulting in the Global Innovation and Technology Centre in Cambridge where he led their IP strategy services and contributed to the development of their 5G service offering. From 2012 to 2017, Benoit was in the leadership team of ClearViewIP (now Deloitte), a specialist IP strategy and transaction consultancy. Before that, Benoit was running his own patent brokerage firm and worked in various IP advisory positions, assisting clients to leverage the value of their innovation and IP. Benoit has a Degree in Commercial Sciences from HEC Liège, Belgium and an MBA from Leicester University.
